I taught my niece to make this apron to give her mom for Valentine's Day. It was a skirt in it's past life. I bought it at Value Village for $3! We cut a big chunk out of the middle of the back and hemmed the sides. Then we used the piece we cut out of the middle to make the shoulder straps, the ties and the pocket. I LOVE how this apron turned out. It's sooooo cute.
That did come out so cute. Great job Vanessa! You are so clever Mandy.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I've got a skirt in my scrap bin that would look great as an apron, thanks for the clever idea Mandy!

I saw your apron at Tie One On. Through the rabbit hole I went, and I found myself frustrated at the Threadbanger site. Do you have any further information about that tutorial, like what it's called, when the episode aired, or... I don't know. I've been searching the internet for a special apron, and now that I've seen it, I will not give up! I must make that apron!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
